Don't Have Kids

Our voices in this nation are being silenced by apathy, voter restriction, and desperation.  However, one way that we can strike back is by not having children.

That's right.  Don't have kids.  Economists are cautiously optimistic about the future of America's youngest members, but they are warning about what the future may mean if something isn't done soon to alleviate the double-whammy of student debt and a prolonged recession.

However, the upper crust is starting to take notice, and this situation gives the younger generations a spotlight we may not have had otherwise.  The future of America hangs in the balance.

So, how could not having children actually help our cause if it could hurt the economy?

First, from insurmountable student debt to crappy jobs, we are already accessed screwed.  With 16% of our generation living with their parents, there's not much more rock bottom than you can get on the career ladder, and it's not looking good for the majority of us.  So, if it's the economy that you're concerned about, you're already the receiver in the economic clusterfuck, and the people in charge didn't bring any lube.  The least we can do is make it unpleasant for them.

Second, we are the meat for the meat grinder, and fewer cattle means that these wall-street thugs start feeling the hunger pains.  In short, their economic prosperity is still tired to our own.  It's time to make the rich in this country sweat.

But what about us?  What about our desires and our needs? 

I'm sure that at some point, the early labor unions felt the same as they championed basic ideas like weekends and the right to assemble peacefully in the workplace, but they knew that what they were fighting for was just.  In the end, we understand that deferring our wants and needs in the long run to fight for what is right is just and needed.  So that's what is intended by not having children.  We're on strike, and we won't produce until we get what we want.
